BuilderCalculator does not require an account. The calculators run in your browser. We do not operate a cloud database of your measurements or projects.

Local saved inputs

Calculator inputs, unit choices and product assumptions are saved in your browser’s local storage under BuilderCalculator keys. They remain until you select “Clear saved data” or remove the site’s browser data. Other devices do not automatically receive this data. If browser storage is unavailable, calculations continue.

Shared links

Sharing places measurements, units and product assumptions in the URL fragment after #. That fragment is not sent in the normal HTTP request to our host. Anyone who receives the full link can decode those values. Browser history, clipboard history and tools you use to share the link may also retain it. The forms do not collect project names, addresses or freeform notes.

Hosting and ordinary requests

Cloudflare serves the website. Ordinary requests include technical information such as IP address, browser and requested path, which the hosting provider can process for delivery, security and service operation. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Optional analytics

When configured, Google Analytics loads only after you choose “Allow analytics.” Rejecting analytics leaves the calculators available. We use basic page views and tool actions such as first result, unit change, copy, print and share. We do not send input dimensions, prices, URL fragments or full referrer paths. Advertising storage and personalization are denied.

Your choice is saved locally. Reopen “Privacy choices” in the footer to change it. Analytics cookies may persist until their expiry or browser deletion; opting out denies further analytics storage and attempts to remove this site’s _ga cookies. See Google’s privacy policy.

Email and external links

If you email us, your email provider and ours process the information you send for correspondence. We use it to respond and investigate the issue. External websites have their own privacy practices. This release does not use advertising, marketing pixels or a login system.
